What is CBD, and why consume it in oil form?

All this mystery around the CBD, let us reveal all to you …

CBD or cannabidiol is one of the many cannabinoids contained in hemp. It is simply a molecule extracted from hemp. CBD comes in crystals in its pure form but is often extracted as oil, making it more convenient to consume.

Mind you, CBD is not to be confused with THC. THC is one of the main molecules of cannabis. Its rate differs according to the plant’s varieties and the final product manufacturing. When we think of cannabis, we sometimes think of the “euphoric” effects that its consumption can bring. In reality, the consumption of THC (a psychoactive substance) produces this effect. Cannabidiol has no psychoactive effect. This is the reason it is legal in many countries and available in many products, including oils, which we will discuss.

How to choose your CBD oil?

The most important factor when choosing CBD oil must always be quality. There are now many different brands of CBD oils, with significant differences in quality from one supplier to another.

Poor quality CBD oils may have a CBD content far lower than advertised on the label, may contain undesirable traces of THC, or contain heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria, or pathogenic fungi.

You should carefully select your brand of CBD oil to avoid any risk of inconvenience.

To guarantee impeccable quality and absolute safety, we chose to distribute exclusively products containing CBD manufactured by Happy Garden. This manufacturer produces one of the best quality CBD oils.

The cannabinoids in our CBD oils come from organic hemp plants which are legal to cultivate in Europe. CBD extraction is done in a laboratory and guarantees a final product of optimal quality.

Our CBD oils are considered “full-spectrum” because they also contain small amounts of other cannabinoids as well as various aromatic terpenes from the hemp plant that enhance the effectiveness of CBD due to its surrounding effect. Our CBD oils contain only traces of THC and thus do not cause any psychotropic effect.

A detailed technical sheet is available on each of our products and allows you to check the rates of cannabinoids and THC quickly.

What dosage of CBD oil to choose?

We propose CBD oils with six different concentrations to allow you to choose the one that suits you best: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 24%, or 30% of CBD (Cannabidiol); the most concentrated version is on MCT oil for maximum efficiency.

The correct dosage of CBD oil depends on the degree of necessity of the oils and on the consumer’s body weight. The dosage of your oil will be directly related to your weight and the severity of the symptoms you wish to treat.

If your degree of necessity for these oils is low, you will need a daily dosage of 0.5mg of CBD per kilo. On the other hand, if it is a medium degree, it will be 1mg, and if you have a high degree, you can go up to 1.5mg of CBD per kilo.

In a bottle of CBD (10ml), you will find about 200 drops. So depending on your oil’s concentration, CBD content will differ. A drop of an oil at 10% will contain 5mg of CBD, while a drop of an oil at 30% will contain 15mg. It’s up to you to choose the right oil according to your needs.

For example, a man weighing 75kg with an average degree of necessity of CBD will be able to use an oil at 15% and will be able to take a total of ten drops of oil a day, spread to 3 intakes a day. (1mg * 75kg = 75 mg/day – each drop contains 7.5mg of CBD hence 10 drops to obtain 75mg)

The CBD oil acts as long as 6 to 8 hours. To get the most out of it, we advise you to consume it three times, for example, in the morning, midday, and the evening. However, you can adapt this rhythm according to your preferences and the results you obtain.

In case you do not know your degree of necessity in CBD, here is a piece of advice : start by following the dosage corresponding to the low degree of CBD and your body weight.

Then increase this dosage gradually by one drop per day all while keeping the maximum limit dosage corresponding to your body weight

We take this opportunity to remind you that we do not have the competence nor the authorization to councel any medical or therapeutic use of CBD oils.

Thus it is necessary to consult your doctor on this subject, check with him about the possible contraindications with your state of health and the possible interactions of CBD with certain drugs.

How to use CBD oil?

Choosing a CBD oil means opting for a practical and compact format, which can be taken anywhere and consumed whenever you feel like it! You can consume CBD oil (Cannabidiol) by holding it under the tongue for about 60 seconds before swallowing.

You can assimilate the cannabidiol primarily through the sublingual route, which is faster and more effective than the traditional oral route. Once you let it work, you can rinse your mouth and drink. The advantage of hemp oil is that there are many ways to consume it! For example, it is possible to add drops of CBD oil on a sugar cube, in yogurt, or any other type of food or drink. The effects will then be slower but also more durable.

We supply Our CBD oils with a convenient integrated dropper and a cap on each bottle. We advise you to shake the bottle of CBD oil well before each use and keep it in a cool and dry place away from the light up until six months after opening it.
